Make exercise fun and social

If you view exercise as a chore and feel bored doing it, it'll be hard to sustain your exercise schedule in the long run. However, you can make it fun and involve the whole family. Choose activities you enjoy doing and vary them.

For instance, plan jogging, walking, and biking and alternate them each time. If you achieve your weekly exercise goals, award yourself with something nice. Take your kids out and play with them outside. Walk the family dog more often than you have do.

If you still feel bored, join a club. Such as running clubs, and hiking clubs. Get the whole family involved. Many communities have organization like racing clubs. Become a volunteer and socialize. If you are single, then there's more reason to join running clubs!
